"My Adorable Bunch" - family tree

A fun family tree project for Armaan's school. Armaan came up with this interesting concept of using a coconut tree to represent his family tree. The bunch has names of our family members on every coconut. The coconut carrying the title has just fallen from the tree. A cute idea!!Armaan named the project "My Adorable Bunch".
We used paper cup, green and brown craft paper, brown skewer sticks, green clay and colorful bands to tie the leaves to the trunk.

Craft fun!

Making the "trumpet" for Armaan's "Speech & Drama" workshop at school, was a fun family activity. We got a funnel, a pipe, and a few candy sticks from a nearby store. Connected them with some pieces of binding wire and then wrapped the entire assembly with gold wrapping paper. Simple & quick!! Armaan enjoyed being a part of the creative fun, and was overjoyed, when his teacher appreciated his "trumpet", as the best handmade musical instrument in the class.

"Organic Terrace Garden"

A green garden adds beauty & value to our home terrace. Thanks to the interest & efforts taken by our man Friday (Rajaram), we have a lovely organic terrace garden. So amazing to see the vegetables grow. The pink flower (eggplant), is so pretty!

Vegetables grown in your home garden taste better than those purchased at the grocery stores, simply because you eat your garden produce soon after you pick them. Home grown vegetables are better tasting, more nutritious, chemical free & fresh. Looking forward to some benefits of our little organic garden.

Feels good, to be able to contribute, in a small way, to the global efforts towards green living.
